Services
Dr. Jakelski provides chiropractic care for the treatment of spinal pain (neck, midback, and low back), headaches, sprains and strains, joint pain, and athletic and workplace injuries. She has extensive training and experiene in concussion care/rehabilitation, acupuncture, customized exercise programs.
Dr. Jakelski has over 150hrs of clinical training in assessment, management, and rehabilitation of concussions and has been working in this field for over 5 years. Having the right clinician on your side to help you navigate your recovery is paramount.
Services include concussion assessment, education, rehabilitation/exercise, lifestyle advice, nutrition and supplementation, return to play/work testing, and collaboration with your medical doctor/rehab team.
Dr. Jakelski has been working as a chiropractor for over 6 years. Assessments include a full pain and health history, hands on physical examination, report of findings, and explanation of your treatment plan.
Treatments consist of spinal/joint mobilizations and manipulations, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture therapy, lifestyle and nutrition advice, and other modalities.
Dr. Jakelski has experience with a variety of modalities including acupuncture, therapeutic ultrasound, low level light therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue work, cupping, shockwave, and taping.
These modalities can be used in conjunction with other therapies, or possibly as stand alone therapies for a multitude of conditions.
After an initial assessment, you may talk with Dr. Jakelski about the possiblity of adding any of these services into your care.
